A Melange of Appetites

We bought this boxed chocolate cake for $3.99 at a local discount store. This cake by Deutsche Kuche (which literally means German cuisine), has a rich chocolate cream between layers of soft sponge (as stated on the box). It was not too rich nor sweet. It was just right and enough to satisfy my craving for a decadent treat. I wish it came in other flavors.
