How To Enjoy Plain Yogurt
I bought plain yogurt weeks ago to make a sauce for a chicken dish. Unfortunately, it was an experiment that didn’t go well. I had about two cups of leftover yogurt. I don’t like plain yogurt for regular consumption. Since I had some fruits available in my kitchen, I decided to use up the remaining yogurt to make a fruit bowl.
In a big bowl, I put sliced fruits, then added the yogurt and sugar. I then chilled this mixture for at least 20 minutes. The sugar and sweetness of the fruits tamed the tartness of the yogurt quite a bit. I might actually make this again, but only if I have leftover yogurt.
