“Cake in a Cup” (Specialty Cupcakes)
Cake in a Cup is a bakeshop specializing in cupcakes. It is a Manhattan inspired shop which just opened last year on West Central Avenue in Sylvania Township.
While on our way to Kyoto Ka, a newly opened Japanese restaurant in the same area, we passed by Cake in a Cup. After having just recently hearing about it on the news, I decided to drop by and try out their cupcakes.
The place is cozy and the staff friendly. The cupcakes are somewhat pricey but since they are made from scratch, I think they’re worth it. I bought four different kinds of cupcakes and enjoyed each one at home. The cupcakes are moist, decadent, yet not overwhelmingly sweet. I will definitely come back and buy some more.
